I’m forgetful and my husband gets mad 😡

Is anyone else forgetful? I’m not all the time but I seem to always forget something on my way out of the house. My phone on occasion. A present to a birthday party we’re going to. The babies blanket. Small things.

So we’re headed to my moms house. I was going to take a cousin that will be there a bag of baby clothes my son grew out of. I packed it and added clothes as we were getting ready to head out. Fast forward to us on the freeway and I tell my husband I forgot the bag of clothes. He goes off on me and tells me how I’m “stupid” for forgetting and how I’m always forgetting something.

Mind you my cousin doesn’t even know I was thinking of taking her clothes so it’s no big deal that it was left at home. No one is really even expecting what I had packed. I responded to him telling him how he’s not perfect and how he’s forgets things also and I never nag or berate him about it. That makes him even more upset and he tells me to shut up!

Really! I seriously don’t see the need to get upset. If anything he could help with with getting everything into the car along with the baby. I’m always left to pack and get everything together while also getting myself and the baby ready to go out. I’m set up to forget something with all that’s on my mind. All he does is get himself ready and carry the baby into the car. Must be nice!!! Rant over
