After senior thesis slump...

Hey guys. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has written a senior thesis and has experienced the same kinds of feelings I have right now. I’m a history and English major and even though my topic was generally categorized as analyzing the “historical narratives” of a particular historical event, the two departments encouraged me to write two theses instead of just one (because even though my school lets one paper count for two majors, the arguments I was making apparently didn’t work for both departments). Long story short, I researched and wrote two theses, and I feel completely burned out. I still have two weeks left of school and I have a final paper in one of my history classes and I feel like I don’t remember how to research or write a paper anymore. It’s like how they say when you fall in love and that person breaks your heart it’s like they took a piece of your heart with them. Except I feel like these theses took a huge chunk of my brain!! Is what I’m experiencing normal? Has anyone else felt this? I thought after I turned in my theses I was going to feel overjoyed, but I really (and not to be dramatic) felt destroyed. Emotionally and physically. Oh and I pushed back my period by a whole week when I had to turn them in because I was so stressed!!!!
