So i started reading this book in middle school( so it’s been over 10 years) but i never finished it.. i went back for it and never found it again. I’ve googled it but nothing. It’s about a poor girl who has sex with a wealthy boy and becomes pregnant. She ends up losing the baby by miscarriage and she doesn’t want anyone to know he’s the father so she buried the fetus but someone found it and the punished her by hanging her. Only she didn’t die and they were getting ready to do her autopsy(i think) and one of the guys saw her move or blink so they stopped and she could hear everything that was going on around her. And that’s all i remember. If anyone knows this book please please please let me know. It’s been killing me by not being able to find it and finish it.
