Anyone have a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe? Love it or hate it?

Looking to upgrade to an SUV for more room and safety. Any input appreciated!

I think Hyundai's are beautiful cars but I've never personally owned one, I've always been a Mazda owner and they have never let me down, they're an excellent drive. I just bought a Kia Sportage though and I love it.

I’m curious as well. Some idiot hit & totaled my car, so I was looking to upgrade for space (9.5 y.o. & 7 m.o.) .. I test drove the RAV4, Highlander, Santa Fe .. & I’m torn. I’ve even gone to Kia, Chevy, Nissan (hated every truck there).. my rental was the Durango which I LOVED but they said was a gas guzzler. So I’m stuck 🥴. Going to test drive the VW Tiguan

Go for the 2019 Toyota Highlander, we have one and we live it. It's the most spacious and has a great mpg.

I don’t own one but have a friend who does and she loves it. I’ve owned two elantras in my life and love them. My husband owns a Hyundai Accent and loves it. Once we get my Elantra paid off we are planning on getting a Hyundai SUV

We just purchased a new CRV. When I was talking to one of the salesmen about resale values, he informed me that Hyundai’s, Buick’s and Kias lose a major amount of their resale value and never recoup it. I have Ford Edge that we want to trade in in 2-3 years and was considering a Hyundai and after what he said, I researched it and it was right.

I work on cars and wouldn't get a Hyundai. My boyfriend has gone through 3 in the last 6 years, none of the cars were lost due to his actions. They've also had problems recently and are not fun to work on.

I drove a Toyota 4 runner, the 2019 limited nightshade edition and absolutely love it. I also work for the Toyota plan that builds the highlanders, and I agree with pp, they are very spacious and great looking cars. However they are releasing a new model next year & they are even better looking. I personally wouldn’t ever buy one, but I help build them. I don’t think I could do that 10 hours a day, and drive one home too. 🤷🏻‍♀️ BUT I do love my 4 runner so much.
