My baby is 10 weeks (2.5 months) and when I had her in her bassinet on her back, she randomly started to have a startle/moro-like reflex. However she wasn’t sleeping and it didn’t feel like there was a stimulus to startle her (like loud noise etc) but I’m not sure if she’s just extra sensitive to where even my hand moving in the air startles her. She never really did this before. She did seem kind of upset after and it happened a few times soon after each other.

She was tired (but not actively falling asleep) and sometimes after stretching she startles like that (mainly bringing her arms up halfway and a mini-gasp).

And sometimes WHILE she’s waking up she’ll startle (also not sure if it’s from stretching really hard or if it’s between sleep cycles)

Is this normal??? I’ve googled (I knew I shouldn’t have) and came across my worst fear....infantile spasm?!

Please someone reassure me..I have bad anxiety to begin with and this is debilitating

She’s currently meeting all her milestones but I can’t help but worry
