Hair skin & nails while pregnant ?

Question

Has anyone taken them while pregnant along with prenatals 
I was thinking maybe one every other day? 
My hair does the opposite during pregnancy it gets real brittle and dry 
I swore my dr said with my daughter I could take them but that was years ago and now I’m second guessing myself if I was just imagining it lol

It probably won’t hurt, but if you’re taking a prenatal already, it won’t help much.
Your body can only absorb so much of many vitamins a day. If the baby needs those nutrients, it’s going to take them away from your hair and nails. 
You might be better off eating a handful of carrot sticks (vitamin A) and sunflower seeds (for Vitamin E) each day. The body absorbs excess vitamins better from food sources than supplements.

I tried to continue to take these but it made me even more nauseous.,. So im not taking prenatals or any type of vitamin till im further along
