Does formula fed babies sleep longer than breastfed babies?

With my first, she slept though the night completely by 6 months (actually switched to formula due to supply issues after she was sleeping through the night, but that was before I did way more research on what to do while breastfeeding) and my 6 month old wakes up several times throughout the night and is also breastfed...I think it depends on the baby.

I think it depends more on the baby than what baby is being fed.

My exclusively breastfed baby has been sleeping through the night since we brought her home. 6+ hours (I had to wake her to feed her the first 2 weeks until she gained her birth weight. She’s been sleeping 10 straight since 3 months with no night feeding. I think it all depends on the baby!

I tested this with my baby.  He is 7 months and has never slept through the night.  Around 4-5 months I started giving him a large formula bottle before bed instead of breastfeeding and giving him formula the first time we woke up.  Did it for about a month, his sleep never improved so I’m back to just breast feeding.
