Sharp Pains

I'm 5 weeks and 3 days today. I've been getting sharp pains , what feels like my ovaries the past few days. This is my 2nd pregnancy, I miscarried back in OCTOBER at 7 weeks and didn't feel any pain until I actually miscarried. My pregnancy symptoms back then just went away and I started bleeding. I have no signs of bleeding, I constantly check every time I use the restroom. I've heard that hormones can cause these pains or discomfort. Anyone else heard or experienced this before?
