ovary cyst??

hey ladies I'm just wondering have any of yous experienced ovary pain.. I've started to have really bad pain on my left ovary i use to think it was ovulation pain but I'm currently 12dpo and my left ovary an lower back are so sore the last few days I'm beginning to think its something serious. I'm constantly constipated also (sorry tmi) my doctor is not sitting till Monday I have an appointment. I have to deal with this pain all weekend ? anyone else experience this that can shed some light on what is happening pls

I recently had a cyst rupture. It initay bursted and was VERY painful I didn't know what was going on. Thought about going to the emergency room. I went to the Dr. The next day and he completed a pelvic exam. When he pressed on my left ovary it was very painful. The right side was not painful. He said it was an ovarian cyst. He told me that almost every woman will experience a cyst burst at least once in their life. If it happens often then they may need to start hormone treatment (birth control). It took about a week for the pain to stop. At this point the pain was very dull and lots of pressure. The Dr. gave me some pain medication for it.

I would be sure to tell your doc everything.  Pain can indicate something is up.
I have an ovarian cyst as well as a terratoma. They both showed up on an ultrasound with my gynecologist.  Neither hurt me (but this is my case). Even so the terratoma will have to be removed.

I had a cyst removed a couple of weeks ago too (6in!!). My doc was really worried that it would damage my ovary, he said if they get too big they can actually flip and tie off your ovary and permently damage it. Pain is an obvious indicater that something's going on in there! Whether it ruptured or flipped, if it hurts go get a ultrasound and find out what's going on.

I recently had a 4 inch ovarian cyst removed surgically. they are yes very painful, I have been dealing with them since I was 9 years old and they actually put me on a medication now to put my ovaries to sleep because all they do is make cysts for me. I would say call your obgyn or go to the hospital. I went to the hospital Tuesday around 8 pm and was getting surgery by 4 am Wednesday, they can be very serious and painful and the pain is also indescribable up until te point it is a major problem. I was not able to pinpoint the pain until the night I went to the er. good luck!

I had a cyst that ruptured on my ovary a few years ago. I woke up my roommate (in college) and asked her to get my phone to call my mother at 2:00am because I couldn't even sit up, it hurt so bad. I took Advil and got an appointment with the dr the next day. They did a pelvic exam and said it ha most likely been a cyst, but no other problems. I was sensitive for the next couple of days in that area, but I haven't had any other problems.

i had an ovarian cyst that ruptured and one that i got removed before it ruptured. the pain was so bad i was tossing and turning in bed. i could barely breathe. i had bad cramps too due to endo.
