I have a hormonal IUD and I take birth control pills as prescribed by my GYN for my PCOS. I took it for 3 weeks and now am in the placebo pill week. I stopped taking the pills, I haven’t taken the placebo pills and started spotting today, 3 days after I would have started the placebo pills. HERES THE KICKER: I haven’t had a period since January or February. I’ve spotted once or twice from sex, but I haven’t bled in forever because of the IUD I’m like 89 days late. Does this sound normal to be spotting now? Is it the birth control this time?? I’ll ask my doctor but I’m curious what y’all think.

All sex is protected with a condom too. And I can feel the IUD strings. I had my IUD checked a month ago for placement and it was perfect.
