I don’t post on here much but hopefully I’m in the right place for this and y’all can help guide me...

Over the last few years I’ve been on and off with this guy . We get along most of the time and he is my best friend when he’s not irking my nerves. He’s there for me at my lowest times and my highest. He can be my biggest supporter (only if he’s still included in the picture.. typically) and my biggest motivator. Mediocre in bed... but you get the point ! I like him and I’ve grown to care. The only problem is that I feel like he does not respect as a lady and irks the hell out of me. He walks in front of me, does not open doors, or any of that other cute gestures our grandfathers use to do for our grandmothers. I’ve talked about walking in front of me before but it was resolved for only a couple of weeks before we broke it off for the 2747493th time. I know it’s small and he doesn’t have to do it but it should show some type of respect, right ?

We just started talking again 😅 and it seems as though he wants to keep pushing forward despite what happened on NYE.. but I can tell y’all that on a different day/post...

Okay... so basically what I’m asking is should I be okay with moving forward with a guy that lacks chivalry (hopefully I’m using that right)?
