How do you know your water is leaking?

Has anyone had this problem? Ive felt very heavy pelvic pressure all day and I feel like I have soaked through my panties more so than normal discharge. I see doc tomorrow and ill be mentioning it, just wondering if anyone has experienced this and what it is like.

I had it. It was very small leaking so I didn't know. But my underwear would get soaked in 30-45 minutes. I wore a liner and it looked clear and smelled really sweet. It can have no smell to a really sweet sugary smell. Definitely call labor & delivery. I called mine and they asked me questions then told me to come in. Squat a bit and drink water to see if it'll help distinguish it. But mine didn't full break just dripped until I walked into the labor and delivery when they asked for a pee sample it all gushed out which was a hour or two later.
