Can taking clindamycin cause u to fail a drug test ?

I only took one for my tonsillitis a couple hours ago like at maybe 6 pm and I may have a drug test at 9 am I’m not on any other drugs besides my thyroid meds could those cause a Postive drug test or no

No.
Most drug tests I experienced were in the army and they tested for EVERYTHING. Clindamycin is not a synthetic opiate or opiate, -dine/done/mine drug (these can show positive for methamphetamines) anything along the lines of mdma, extacy, thc, coke, or other substances.
If you have a prescription it doesn’t matter anyways because you can dispute the positive with proof of prescription. One of my buddies was in a motorcycle accident and was on tons of opiates, he failed every single drug test but really didn’t because it was his own prescription. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It would show up in the test what type of drug it is that you’re taking and then you could just explain what the medication is and what it’s for and you should be fine :)
