So on May 6th I went in to be induced with baby #2 at 36 and 5 days after being diagnosed with cholestasis at 35 weeks. They started me off on cervadil since I wasn’t dialated at all. That put me to 2 cm in the 12 hour period. Next the did a balloon catheter which eventually got me to 4 cm on May 7th later in that night I had to receive an epidural because my cervix was so posterior and checking me was horrible because it hurt so bad. So I got some sleep and at 9:30 in the morning they came in and broke my water and was at 5 cm. About an hour and half later I was begging for a c section because the contractions hurt that bad from the pitocin being all the way up. Obviously my doctor wouldn’t budge on that idea and then checked again I was at 7 cm. Thank god she didn’t give because at 11;25 she came in to try and calm me down they were about to give me something to sleep but when she checked this time I was at 9 cm and literally said I can’t leave the room because you’re having a baby in the next ten minutes. So I started pushing they didn’t even have time to turn the bed into the table with the stirrups. Only 4 pushes and not even 2 minutes he was out. My 6lbs 1 oz of pure perfection and born on exactly 37 weeks so no nicu intervention and perfectly healthy that we got to come home the very next day. And now my baby boy is 3 weeks old today and my older daughter who’s 2 and 5 months loves him so much. But after being induced 2 times it’s safe to say at 21 years old I’m officially done having kids
