How long before you stopped bleeding after having a C Section?

I’m a few days shy of 4 weeks pp and still bleeding. It’s not very heavy by any means. I could probably go a whole day with one pad being enough. But it goes from a mucousy red to pinkish/brown and then back to red again. Is that normal? I thought once it turned pinky/brown it would stay that colour and slowly taper off?

Ingot lucky I only bled for like 15 days after my C-section but then for the next month if I walked too much or was super busy I’d cramp and bleed again

Mine was the same. Stopped completely between 5 and 6 weeks PP.

I bled for just over 2 weeks with my first. My first period came about 2 weeks later and was worse than my bleeding from my csection! I think everyone is different. I’ve heard of some bleeding, stopping, and then bleeding again without it being a period.

It really depends on your body I bled constantly for 8wks with my 1st. With my second and 3rd I was on and off bleeding till 5wks then got my proper periods back at 7wks. On and off bleeding is normal if you have a really heavy period that most likely be your normal period, as the 1st period back after having baby is horrible.
