So my partner and I went to see fertility dr a few months ago and told us that I had low ovarian reserve and that he requests that my partner provide a semen sample. My partners last semen analysis results were low sperm count and poor motility and morphology, this was 10 years ago. So the dr wants a up to date one.

Anyway since then my partner has made no effort in providing a sample even though the fertility clinic has called a few times asking about this. I haven’t spoke to my partner because I was concerned it wasn’t something he wanted even though he has instigated the fertility clinic and is both having a child together.

I even said to my partner if he can’t do it or doesn’t want to I’m just going to ask for the mirena coil to be out in as I can’t deal with heartache no more. Also knowing I’m on a low reserve.

The dr did suggest we act rather quickly as he can’t put a time limit on how long I have left before hitting the menopause, so I just don’t know what to do anymore.

I have left my partner to not put pressure on him, but just can’t help but feel he isn’t interested so I just want to stop it now.

Am I being harsh? What advice would u give me? My head is all over the place right now. 😔k

None of his results from 10 years ago makes much sense to me either 😫
