i’ve heard gum sensitivity/gum bleeding is a pregnancy symptom. has anyone experienced this/known someone who’s experienced this?

Yes, but not early pregnancy. It happens as you get further along due to increased hormones.

Its a symptom of pregnancy because of the excess blood flow.  I know a number of people that have experienced it, but not right at the beginning of their pregnancies.

My gums have been bleeding each time I brush pretty much since week 7. I’m 23 weeks now and it still happens. They don’t hurt though so thats a positive! Just looks crazy in my mouth sometimes. My dentist warned me that it would happen, but extra flossing could help.
