So over the past few months there have been a few times where I will have very dark brown discharge coming out for a couple days, and then it goes away and might come back in a month or so. Well yesterday I noticed it was back, and with a vengeance this time. It was pretty heavy...like almost period heavy and I’m itching too. Not extremely but enough to be concerned. It also has a odd odor to it as well. I’m sexually active (He’s clean and so am I so you can rule out STI’s) and I just started a new pack of birth control on Friday (I had been off of it for a few months).

Any ideas on what it might be or how to stop it?
