Father’s Day gifts??

What are you all doing for the father of your baby for Father’s Day, this is going to be his first Father’s Day as this is our first child. I wanted to diy something for him but can’t come up with anything even after looking online. Ideas???

As ungrateful as this sounds I’m getting him a baby 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll be maybe a week postpartum and I know I won’t have time/energy to do anything.

I ordered a “Happy First Father’s Day” onesie for the baby to wear that day, got them matching shirts & I’m planning on getting a cute picture of the baby to put in a ‘daddy’ frame that I can get from amazon since I’ll be at most 2 weeks PP.

We didn’t celebrate Mother’s Day for me and we weren’t going to celebrate Father’s Day as the baby was supposed to come after Father’s Day. Now that I’m being induced prior to Father’s Day I’m thinking we will do something small. Probably order food at home and just spend the day. Nothing special though since I’ll be a week or so after giving birth.

I got him a pocket watch engraved with “worlds best dad” that has a compass look to it. It also says “love, violet” on the back (our baby’s name) and “happy first Father’s Day” on the nice box it came in. She probably won’t even be here yet because I’m due June 25th but I thought way ahead because he made a big deal of Mother’s Day for me. Last Mother’s Day I was having my second miscarriage within a year and it was so nice to be excited this year. 💕

I ordered him a shirt that says “Best. Dad. Ever.” Which I will give him at the hospital to wear home, I know that’s not technically Father’s Day but I’m not sure what else to get.
