I got annually unless I suspect a reason that I need to go. Prior to marriage though I'd go after any type of unprotected sex with a new partner.

I tried to go before every new partner I had. I didn’t have one night stands very often if ever so it was pretty easy to get tested for me. When I was having fun, I think I went every other month/8 weeks.

I’m married so no need but I do go for my yearly check ups and ask for STD/STI & HVI testing.

I don't go in for it, but it's my doctor's office's policy to run a full STD panel at my annual exam and a partial anytime I come in for a yeast infection or BV. I end up being test 2-3 times per year, normally.

Before I met my husband I went every 6 weeks. From the ages of 18-20 I was sleeping with several guys who were also sleeping with other women. I went all the time just because I needed to make sure even if I was being stupid I was still taking care of myself.
