Birth Story

My baby girl was due May 17th 2019 , i started having too much pressure that night and ended up going to the hospital that night being admitted,it was 9:30 p.m. and i was at 3 cm dilated and at 10:30 they checked me again and i was at a 4 ! They nurses told me i was having pretty strong contraction that were really close to each other , yet I didn't feel none of them at that time . it wasn't until I was at 7 cm dilated that i was given pitocin to progress my labor by this time it was 9:30 a.m. and I could now feel every bit of contraction I had , although they were'nt that painful! By 10:30 a.m. I was fully dilated to a 10 and my water had been broken previous to that,at 11:00 a.m. I began pushing but since i had difficulty of her coming out I had to get an episiotomy, so after pushing for more than 30 mins, my baby girl Ruth Anahi Corea was born exactly at 11:39 a.m. on May 18, 2019 weighing 7.9 lbs and her lenght being 19 inches long! Can't believe i had her without an epidural , so glad it was an easy labor! In love with my baby girl !
