Ultrasounds???

Question

How many ultrasounds are normal? 
I had a dating scan at 7 weeks just wondering if most people then don’t have another until the anatomy scan? I’ve heard of some scan at 11-12 weeks but not sure if that’s normal?
I’m in the US and I know every doctor is a bit different but just curious!

I had a dating scan at 8 weeks another at 10 then the NT scan at 12 weeks next is 20 weeks

I’m in the up and we have a dating scan 11-14 weeks and a gender scan 18-22 weeks and that’s it

I’m on my fourth and what I’ve typically had done was one around 8-10 to confirm pregnancy and due date, one at 20 weeks and one around 36.  
My last pregnancy had more bc of complications.

I've low-key had a lot this pregancy. I had one at 7 weeks, then 11.5 weeks, then 13 weeks!! It's def a lot more than i would have liked to be seeing baby BUT this is also a rainbow baby so seeing baby so often has put my mind at ease so I'm grateful. 😁

I had a dating ultrasound at 7 weeks and my next wont be until 18 to 20 weeks. My 2 sisters have a ultrasound at every 4 week appointment. They both go to a different doctor then me. Although my doctor does a doppler every visit to hear the heart just not see anything

That’s normal for a healthy pregnancy! First dating ultrasound (usually between 8 and 12 weeks) and than not another until 20 weeks for the anatomy one. Then there’s another one later in your pregnancy when you’re like 36 weeks or something like that. You can get a ultrasound around 12 weeks for genetic screening stuff, but a lot of doctors don’t recommend it unless you’re high risk.

I’m 12 weeks and will have my 4th next week. 2nd was for reassurance and 3rd was because of bleeding though.

I guess it depends on your doctor cause mine had me do a 12w (well anywhere from 11-13w) sono for my first and hes having me do it again this time.

Had my saying scan at 9 weeks. I will have an ultrasound at 12 weeks but that’s because I opted for the genetic testing and that’s part of it. Otherwise my next scan isn’t until the 20 week anatomy scan.
