Gas X for bloating?

My doctor suggested taking gas x to reduce my bloating.  But I’m not farting a lot or anything like that.  Has anyone else found relief from it?

I never take gasx for farting, it’s when I need to fart and can’t! I don’t know about bloating but when I feel uncomfortable pressure build up in my abdomen it helps a lot.

News to me that it was an approved medication! I wish I would have known sooner lol
