Bath????

Question

How long to wait before soaking in the tub after a c section? I’m 3 weeks PP and my incision has healed nicely. Don’t want to risk infection though!

I was told to could have a bath 5days after my last c-section as long as you dont use any bubbles. I’ve had 3 c-sections and always bath after the 1st week never had any infection. Make sure you dry your scar properly.

Wait till a follow up. No soaking or scrubbing until your follow up at 6 weeks

Until you’re cleared at your follow up appointment. You still have to heal vaginally after the trauma of the placenta coming out of your uterus

6 weeks and it was killing me cause I literally take baths like every night.... but a nice hot shower was just as good

Like 6 weeks, I know they say that for pools bit pools are dirtier and more chemicals, but I'd probably still wait with the bath
