Bridesmaids?

I will be getting married within the next year and I was talking to my fiance about the number of bridesmaids I'll have is sorta depressing since I will only have 2 maybe 3 ( 3rd person would be almost a acquaintance).

I feel as if that's not enough bridesmaids or will look silly in pictures but it's not like I'm going to randomly grab some girls to make them bridesmaids.

So would 2-3 total bridesmaids be too little or look weird?

We're having a smaller wedding (90 people tops)
