Heartbeat at 5 weeks ?

At how many weeks do you hear a heart beat! Drs couldn't find my baby's yesterday and I'm worried, is it
Still too early?

I'm 8 weeks and the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat with the Doppler. I'm hoping for an ultrasound soon but keeping my hopes up. Baby is low in the pelvis still. A few more weeks and i should be able to hear something.
