My rainbow baby girl is turning 7 months next week and I am back to logging my periods etc on this app (since it started this week ugh). I just realized I never shared my birth story. I was due Oct 29 and literally started laboring that day. Contraction were about 5-7 min apart. I went in about 3 times that week and they kept getting more intense and closer however I did not dilate or thin. My baby girl would not drop. They finally admitted me on nov 4 because my contractions were too intense for at home. I labored for 7 hours and the doctor said I was finally 2 cm. My contraction were every minute at this point so he broke my water. It was very intense at this point and I went to 7 cm but stayed there for 4 hours. I was throwing up in between the minute apart contractions when I couldnt take it anymore and the gas was not helping so my husband told them to give me an epidural. My pain went from 100 to 0. It was amazing. I could still feel the contractions but no pain. But then baby girls heart rate started to drop. It was down to 50 and then we couldnt hear it. Back up to 60. They gave me oxygen and said I would need a c section but the girl next door was in same predicament and were deciding which baby more dire ( small hospital). Well my hubby lost it and we got the golden ticket. My baby girl chloe desiree was born at 6:48 am at 8 lbs 3 oz and 21.25 inches. She was low in blood sugar and had to be away from me for 8 hours. It was torture but once she came in to my room I was never letting that girl go again
