To stretch and sweep?

Had mine about 28 hrs ago, at 37w 2d.
I was 1 CM dilated, and my cervix was softened and baby's head was in the canal (my ob didn't specify exactly how effaced or what station baby was at).
It was very painful for me personally. But it only took, maybe 45 seconds and as soon as it was over it didn't hurt. 
Since then I've been having some mucus and spotting. And I've also been having some mild contractions, NOT Braxton hicks, but it's only like, ever 4 hours or so.

Asking for one today, 38 +6. Been having back pain, period like cramps that go down my things and mild contractions (possibly braxton hicks?) on and off since Sunday. Had a few Braxton hicks pretty much daily from 18 weeks but now it’s like 5-6 and hour for a couple hours then none for a few hours then have them again. It’s starting to be annoying, lol

Praying that im dilated enough friday to get one! Third baby but ive never had one before, im very nervous but i know I got this if im able to have one! Been having contractions since 7pm on tuesday. Been having on and off prodromal labor for 5 weeks so im hoping this is the push my body needs (also ill be 40 weeks on sunday so it will hopefully be done at 39+5)
