Can you fall pregnant 5 days before period?

I’m just wondering from those that have fallen pregnant just before their period? I have long cycles 31-32days

Only if you ovulated late. But if you did ovulate late then your period would start late. If you only had 5 days between ovulation and the start of your period it would be extremely hard to even get pregnant because there wouldn’t be enough time for implantation to happen.

You can't get pregnant just before your expected period, if you know for a fact when your period is coming because you know ovulation already happened. Once you ovulate, your period will come in 12-16 days, and you can't get pregnant during that time, since the egg only lives up to 24 hours. If you did just  ovulate and you would have expected your period in 5 days, well now you won't expect your period until 2 weeks later, since it's dependent on when you ovulated, not when your last period was. But basically, if you're not tracking ovulation, you can get pregnant any time in your cycle since you can't see the future and know when your period will come.
