Mom guilt?

Im at FTM and my daughter is 5 weeks old. I love her so much and overall shes a really good baby.  Its just when shes fussy and cluster feeds it drives me crazy and I just need a break! Then I feel guilty for wanting to be away from her. Pls tell me I'm not the only one!

I felt the same way, it’s hard at first to get adjusted so trust me.. your not the only one! It gets easier, I promise!

Your not the only one!! Lol I went through the same thing and I had many friends who did too! You are still your own person and it’s a huge life change with crazy hormones involved every time you breastfeed and it’s very very hard to do! But there is light at the end of the tunnel. For me it helped taking it day by day or even hour by hour some of the worst days! Lol freely talk about what your feeling even if embarrassed too, I promise it helps!

Girl, I get it! My daughter hasn’t taken a bottle and she’s almost 10 months old. I haven’t had any mommy time since she was born. Maybe an hour here and there. I totally sympathize with you! Don’t feel bad about it! Every mommy needs some time to herself because we have it hard! Breastfeeding is hard. You’re doing great!

Completely normal. Cluster feeding is so draining of course you need to recharge. My husband takes the baby for a long walk so I can get some me-time or a nap in

You’re not the first mom to feel this way and you won’t be the last! I was loosing my mind when my son was that age. Just try to survive it. Also worrying if your a good mom usually means you are a good mom 🥰👍🏻 
It’ll get better! I breastfeed my son until he was 18months, it got more comfortable for both of us as we went along and less stressful. It’s ok to feel touched out!

Your human everyone needs a break sometimes. 😊 i loved bedtime in my house as everyone in bed by 7pm and I love having the evening to ourselves. Our youngest is 6months old but she a great sleeper no problems at night time but through the day she only naps 20mins at a time, so don’t get much of a break. If I didn’t have me time at nighttime I would be loosing my mind with 3kids.. 😂 I love them with all my heart but they can be hard work at times. 😁
