Would you put your toddler in preschool for 2 days a week?

I’m worried because he’ll be turning 3 in September so he’ll be the younger of the group, he’s not potty trained yet and he’s not fully talking yet

My friends little boy didn't go to preschool so when he started school at the age of 5 he really struggled because he didn't have social skills and barely talked. Once he was there for about 3 months his social and language skills greatly improved. His parents regret not putting him in preschool first though

I would its a great experience and he can learn alot both educational and social . My boys both started young, and there's a lot they come home and i hear they've learned.

Probably not if my child wasn’t potty trained yet or talking. My daughter is two and she’s currently in a preschool class that I attend with her. Next year, she will be going by herself.

You don't have to do preschool necessarily, but I would definitely look into a group where he can play with some kids his own age! I noticed a great increase in my toddlers language and social skills by just letting him run around with kids his age at a toddler play center a couple times a week.
But sometimes the preschool structure can be really good for them too!

My son is 3 and I plan to wait until he has to go to school. When we go places where children are he is very social so I have no worries about him. I want to hold onto him as long as possible!

My son never went to preschool and never had any problems. He excelled in kindergarten, made friends no problem, and didn’t have any delays. I worked at a day care and our preschool class wouldn’t even take children who weren’t potty trained.

I would probably just increase social activities. Joining a mom group for play dates or a music class with other children. Focus on potty training, but ultimately stay home with them.
