Would it be obvious if I had thrush? I don’t see any white spots on my baby’s tongue. I had to stop breastfeeding on one side this morning bc it felt painful (like a burning sensation) but I’m also having trouble with my baby’s latch (she doesn’t want to open wide the last few days) and I also use a nipple shield. So I’m not sure if the pain was from the friction with the nipple shield, poor latch, all of the above or could be a sign of thrush? Reaching out to lactation consultant today once they open but wanted some opinions before
