Best Gestational Diabetes App?

My best friend just got diagnosed and is super overwhelmed, I want to be supportive of her and help her find some resources :)

The myfitnesspal app is a very useful tool to log and see all the nutrition content of the foods you eat by meal and snacks. It also includes a lot of restaurant foods. There is also a notes option at the bottom of the screen where I log my numbers each day. I’ll post screen shots. Hope this helps!

I’ve been using one drop. Keeps food and glucose levels. It is meant for some specific meter but you can just enter your glucose reading manually.

I didn’t find any helpful apps when I looked. It just took some trial and error to find what I could eat. I made a chart and wrote down everything I ate and what my numbers were. It helped me see what worked for me and what to avoid. It was a bit of a pain to write everything down but it was super helpful. I only had to do it for 2 weeks to see what foods to avoid. If my numbers had changed further into my pregnancy as they can do I would have started again but thankfully everything has stayed the same.

I use OneTouch Reveal app. It allows you to sync it with Apple health and enter glucose, steps, and exercises.
