My birth story

br

So to shorten up the first bit, I was in and out of L&D for high blood pressure for a week starting last Tuesday (the 21st of May). My blood pressure would get really high (190s/80s) and drop low (90s/50s). I also had a consistent headache that wouldn't go away, but would get worse and then go back to normal. On Tuesday the 28th, my OB and MFM doctor decided to induce me. I went through 33 hours of labor, but wouldn't dilate more than 4cm. At 2am I was taken into the OR for my C-section. My boyfriend got to be in the OR with me, and while he was dealing with bad anxiety, I was so tired at this point (40+ hours of no sleep) that I could barely register it at all.y boyfriend was tearing up when he saw our baby boy and heard him cry. They let my boyfriend cut the cord and then wrapped him up and brought him to me to see. I have never been more in love 😍. They took him to the NICU, and gave him an in depth physical. He's doing good except he has fluid in his lungs (typical for premature C-section babies) and feeding (again, typical of babies born at this stage). He will have to stay in the NICU until he's breathing on his own and able to take a bottle. I still haven't gotten to hold him, but hopefully soon 💕 I'm doing good, hardly any pain and they already got me walking.

Welcome to the world Brantley! Momma and daddy love you so much!!
