Day 3 of being a mom and slept 5 hours total.

I feel like I know nothing ha.

My son wants to nurse literally 24/7. He has good diaper changes and stuff but the only way he isn't crying hysterically is and will fall asleep is being on the breast. Even if he falls asleep 5 minutes later he's wailing again. Also, I'm not sure my latch was amazing the first day or so because my nipples are on fire..which makes his 24/7 wants so hard.

My husband and I have been using the pinky technique but then he's laying on us and we can't sleep. We've also tried swaddling a few times and he doesn't seem to be a fan.

We want to try being exclusively breastfed for at least 6 months, so I've been avoiding a pacifier but I'm getting to the desperate place.

What else can I do?
