Being induced on Sunday and I’m wondering how a scheduled induction works. I’m already 4cm, 80% effaced and baby is at -1 station. I’ve been having painful contractions on and off as well for a few days now. Do they just break your waters and see what happens or first give you pitocin? Also do you go right into a room or first triage? My first I was Induced for pre eclampsia so it was very different. (He was out in 3 pushes though!) and all I had to do was swallow some pill that induced labor right away
