I have some news I’m excited to share. My husband and I have three boys and we did decide we were done having more kids. As much as we wanted a girl, each pregnancy and labor just seems to get harder on me.

After having our third son, I mentioned possibly adopting a baby girl in a couple years. Surprisingly, my husband said he had the same idea. My husband has been in foster care when he was younger so along with wanting a little girl, I think for him, it’s a part of giving back and taking in a child that needs a home.

It won’t be for another couple of years and actually told our older boys they have a sister but we haven’t chosen a name for her yet. Then he went on to telling them we won’t know her name until about 2022-2023. So now he has a plan on when he wants to begin. I think this is the sweetest thing. Our goal is to settle in a bigger home so we can expand our family just one more time.
