I just need to share in order to wrap my head around this. Last week, I was told that we had two sacs, one being 7w5d and the other too small to measure but they couldn’t see any babies. I went back today and there is now one sac but the sac that survived is 6 weeks along now. The doc said it grew since last week and that the heartbeat is normal for 6w. The crazy part is...the twins measured 2.5 weeks apart and the last time we had sex was 9.5 weeks ago. I tested positive 7 weeks ago. So that means I ovulated twice two and a half weeks apart and/or one egg was somehow fertilized weeks after getting pregnant with the first one. The doc said she has zero explanation and that this embryo is an anomaly so far because it defies scientific explanation. Praying that this literal miracle keeps getting stronger every day. Life is certainly strange and one thing is for sure...anything is possible.
