Should my fiancé be at first doctors appt!????

I have my first doctors appointment soon and I’ll be 7 weeks. It’s actually with the nurse, not the doctor 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. Does your partner/hubby come? He actually wants to come. I don’t know if its weird because it’s so early or if he’ll even see anything or be allowed in. Especially because. It’s just with the nurse. This is my first pregnancy and I don’t know! Thanks!!!!!

He should be allowed in, but most likely not much will happen. But if he wants to go let him! Many men can’t go and miss out so I think it’s great he wants to and is able.

My hubby comes with me everytime and when we started having kids they come to. I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old and baby number 3 is on its way and the doctors and nurses think my kids are the most well behaved kids ever. They don't find the appointments weird or gross. they know it's all for the new baby. My family is literally the best.

My boyfriend has been to every single appointment so far. Whether it’s just with wic or actual doctor appointments. It’s his baby too and he wants to support you and baby. Let him go hun💛

My husband comes to almost all my appointments, he has seen Pap smears, bloodwork, ultrasounds, the whole ordeal. It’s great if he wants to come. It really helped my husband bond with the baby and the pregnancy itself.

If he wants to go thats great, let him go. Even if they dont let him in (though i cant see why they wouldnt) its good to have his support 💟 my husband hasnt come with me yet, but will be coming for my next appts at 16 & 20 weeks.

My hubby went. They checked the heartbeat, did a dating scan and ordered blood work. Talked to me about the basics and thats all stuff thatll be good for him to know also.

Yes, definitely! Good for him for wanting to come. My husband came with me to my 6 week ultrasound and he got so excited when he saw the screen. It's good to have your partner as invested as you are in your pregnancy. Regardless of whether they let him into the room or not (I don't see why they wouldn't), he'll feel good supporting you.

My husband needs to take off work to go to appointments, so for both pregnancies he’s only come to the ultrasounds. I’d call and ask if you’re getting an ultrasound (dating scan) at this appointment.

My husband has come to most of my appointments. He enjoys going, even if there isn’t much going on because it makes him feel like he is more apart of the pregnancy. I also enjoy sharing the experience with him! First baby here!
