Who gets fed first

Saw this video on Instagram. This man got upset at his wife because she made a plate of food for their kids first instead of him. Yes. He wanted her to make him a plate instead of him doing it himself. 
He literally threw a bitch fit about it and was yelling at her about how he should of go gotten fed first.

I make my husband a plate if I’m cooking and he makes mine if he cooks. But we ALWAYS make our sons first. Kids come first always. I would absolutely HATE to be with a man like that. I love that my husband cooks sometimes, it is mostly me because I’m just a better cook. But he also helps clean and take care of our son. We both work too and combine our money. I love being in an equal marriage.

My husband knows that our daughter gets her plate first then I fix both of ours and we sit at the dinner table to eat and talk. I couldn’t ever imagine feeding my husband first with my hungry daughter looking at him, he’d feel super guilty and would feed her off his plate til I got hers done. It’s in my culture to feed the man first but forget that noise, my baby gets food first then we do.

So in my culture you serve the head of the household first to establish to everyone who is the head.. I’ve never followed that but I watched it growing up and it makes a little sense.. I feed my kids first anyways so the food can cool down and by that time my husband and me are served and all eating together. 
For him to throw a whole fit is extremely dramatic but it’s a YouTube video so it was probably created to insight controversy like this.

Growing up, my mother always made my fathers plate and then we were allowed to make ours. When I got married and tried to make my husbands plate, he immediately stopped me and told me that was not my job. He could make his own. Now that we have kids, I make their plates first to allow them to cool and then we make our own. Typically my husband waits until I make my plate so he is the last the eat.
