Completely lost

Today I swallowed my pride and applied for snap benefits. My husband is working, I had just went on leave due to me being 33 weeks pregnant. We are blessed to have our bills payed and a roof over our heads but I have learned sadly in today’s society you can make a living with just one person working. He gets $11.22/hour and $7-800 every 2 weeks.

Me and my dads gf both went; she claimed no income at all; while I claimed my husbands $1415. They approved her for $300 a month, and approved me for $15. They said I needed to work at least 30 hours a week before I could receive more. IM 33 WEEKS PREGNANT! I can barely stand for 30 minutes right now!! I just don’t understand.
