Getting off bc

I got on birth control i year ago and I gain 30 pounds. I hate it. Now I wanna get off it of it I never needed it. I don’t even have sex anymore so what are the side effect from getting off it. And I’m not getting off because of weight it’s the side effect of birth control as well
