How long does your one month old nurse for?

My little girl is 4 weeks and will nurse one  boob for 5-10 minutes and then passes out.   I don’t think she’s emptying my milk and I’m wondering if she’s overly sleepy!

If she's gaining weight and diapers are normal, she's good. 
My LO is 7 weeks and often does the same thing. He eats anywhere between 4 and 15 minutes total, and he is huge (90th % in both weight and height).
When I pump, I get 2-4 oz on each side, so that reassures me. If he wasn't eating enough I wouldn't be able to pump that much.
My first took FOREVER to eat...like 30-45 minutes every time. Every baby is different.

My LO has always been like that. He is 2 months old and still only feeds for 10 minutes on 1 side and is done.  Hospital and online kept saying he should eat for at least 20 minutes and take both sides.  I went and saw a lactation consultant and did a regular 10 minute feeding on one side and she weighed him before and after feeding. In that short time he had drank nearly 4oz. She said he is just an efficient eater and that’s perfectly fine.

Same. 5-10min one side and done. Totally opposite of what my daughter did. She did 20min each side and would get mad if I didn’t offer both. I can’t get my son to take the other side for nothing. And he’ll pass out for hours after during the day. So I know he’s getting enough. And he’s gained like over 2lbs in 5 weeks. And consistently has dirty and wet diapers. 
Rarely he’ll do a super long feed. Like he does right before I go to bed thank god. It’ll be like 20+ min usually. Daytime is super short. Like I can’t get him to nurse longer he has a fit and will puke if I make him keep going. He must just be super efficient and I must have a lot more milk this time 🤷🏻‍♀️

That's not long enough. A one month old should be nursing at least 20 minutes.

My month old baby does this too. We’ll have maybe one or two feedings a day that last longer 20 minutes (she’ll continue nursing when she falls asleep), but normally it’s about 10 minutes on one boob. She’s gaining weight very well and wets/poops so many diapers, that the docs and I aren’t concerned

Anywhere from 10-20 minutes. If he is really hungry he’ll stay on and get multiple letdowns.

My 1 month old does this a lot too. I have to wake him up and feed him on the other side, and it takes me a while to wake him up.  The total time he spends on the breast is around 20 mins to 30 mins, that’s without the time he spends asleep.
