How do you stop BF??

Question

So my baby will be 7 months soon; I think, I want to stop EBF, at 9 months... how do I do this? How do I teach baby to stop breastfeeding?? How do I stop producing milk? How much formula does a 9 month old need? Will this change, from breastmilk to formula, affect my baby in any way? Does formula cause gas or constipation?? I’m clueless; ftm.. never have given baby, formula.. Trying to get informed though.. part of me just wants to go a year, so I don’t confuse him

I am exclusively pumping and just started introducing formula to my baby so I can wean from the pump. I am now up to three or four bottles of formula a day, and the rest is still breast milk. It doesn’t seem to phase her and she takes it really well!

Theirs different types of formula you can ask your pediatrician what formula suits your baby best . If your LO has acid reflux and projectile vomits like mine then the green (spit up can ) or the purple alem. Kind will work . For gas and fussiness the orange can which is Similac sensitive. But the doctors will mostly likely want you to try Similac advance first and then see how it fits your baby . And at 9 months old 6-8 ounces so for every 6 ounces is 3 scoops or powder and for every 8 ounces is 4 scoops of powder

Cold /frozen Cabbage leaves 🥬 and a tight fitting bra to dry your milk up . And maybe try a trainer cup or a cup with a straw like Sammy said instead a sippy cup to introduce the formula . That’s what im trying next but with breastmilk still  because a regular sippy cup or bottle didn’t work at all no matter what I tried with the LO . And it will mostly likely take a week or so

Sorry I read this too quickly and asked questions that are already answered. I will delete my other reply after. 
I suggest starting now and transition gradually over the next couple months. If you slowly reduce the frequency and duration of your nursing sessions it will be easier on your body and you can likely avoid engorgement and things like that if you do it gradually. 
Formula may or may not effect your baby’s digestive system. You won’t really know until you try, then just like with solids watch for reactions and make changes if needed. If you can, start with just one feeding a day, and I would suggest choosing one that baby is less dependent on. For example if you nurse him to sleep, don’t stop that just yet, try replacing a midday nursing session with a bottle of formula instead.
