HCG blood tests and early pregnancy

So I’ve had a ultra sound scan that showed I was just on 5 weeks a few days ago, I have a sack but too early to see a potential Bub. Im earlier than the dr and I thought I was (I do ovulate late though)and had bloods done at the same time. Dr called me up and organised the whole two hcg tests spaced out to check I am doubling. While I know this could go either way, has anyone had the spaced out hcg tests done before and how’d you go? It seems a lot of miscarriages on here and while I don’t want to be unrealistic I do wonder if people get these tests and end up being fine?!
