Epidural or all natural ?

Has anyone experienced a natural birth compared to getting an epidural? I’m trying to decide what to do

I wanted to do natural with my first but ended up having to get induced and they also used a Foley bulb. Needless to say 7 hours in I caved and asked to have an epidural. I am planning to try again this time for natural if I'm not induced. My biggest advice would be just do what your body tells you in the moment. Birth plans are great but sometimes things change drastically! It's good to go in open to that!

I’ve done both. Epidurals that have gone smoothly, I’ve also had epidural nightmares, and gave birth naturally once. 
I was not prepared to do it natural as I was already a 9 when I got to the hospital so it was too late to get an epidural. I’m not going to lie, it was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced BUT had I been mentally prepared for it I think I could have handled it better.

I chose to deliver my daughter naturally. The pain was intense but I survived. The pushing stage only took 2-3 minutes, I think because I could actually feel what I was doing. My daughter was born alert and I felt pretty good afterwards. I was walking around minutes after giving birth. I can’t compare it to an epidural. I didn’t get one bc I’ve had bad experiences with pain medications and feared I would have had one of those horror stories you hear about.

Also thinking about going natural. With thre epidural I didn't get the full feeling back until hours later in my legs. But I knkw the pain is SOO intense. With my last son I was scheduled to be induced, got to the hospital and started asking where the epidural doctor at.

I chose to deliver naturally with my son and although it hurt, it was temporary. I was able to move around freely and experience every bit on the process physically. I truly feel like whatever helps mom and baby through the process safely is the best option. I want to go natural this time as well if all goes as planned.
I have heard good and bad things from women who have used epidurals but I have nothing to go off of as I didn’t go that route.

Worth my first, my epidural was placed twice but it didn't work either time, so I still felt everything. So this time I'm going to try and go without this time on the off chance it doesn't work again. If there is a different anesthesiologist on call, I may consider it, but I'm going to try without and see if I can push through. It's expensive and they charge for it whether it works or not! And my back was sore for a few days making it uncomfortable to bend over and change diapers, etc. In my case it just wasn't really worth it. But for many it helps a lot so it's hard to say what's right for each individual person.
