How to labor faster??

Question

I'm currently 37 weeks and 3cm dilated I've been having really bad contractions on and off but my cervix hasn't changed! I'm ready for this pregnancy to be over y'all! Any advice on how to speed things up helps!! I've tried walking and sex nothing is helping!! 😭

Not what you want to hear but you can be that dilated for weeks (not saying it will happen). You’re till very early term. I would try to take it easy so you’re comfortable and trust your body will do what it needs to do when the time comes. Sounds like it’s already getting things ready to go!

Everyone keeps telling me it will be any day now but every day another day passes and it's just becoming exhausting! I hate to rush such a beautiful thing but at the same time ... Well you probably understand where I'm coming from! Lol

The night my water broke my mom had made me some cinnamon stick tea, prior to that I was having no signs of labor, I was 39 weeks though

I’ve tried everything also and nothing has helped. It makes me so sad.

This is not want I want to hear either but my dr said all of those things are just myths. Anyone who goes into labor says what they did right before was the reason, but really until the baby is ready and your body is, nothing is happening. 
I am 40 weeks tommorow so trust me I get it!

Drink water, walk if its painful contractions, and try to get rest as you will need it. Relax as once it starts theres no stopping it. :)

If you try to bring labour on faster, you could run into complications with your body dilating or progressing too quickly not giving it (your cervix) enough time to soften. Your baby can get stressed or potentially not move down into the correct position. Be very careful with how you try to bring on labour!! You want your body to relax!! Whatever you decide to try, I suggest evening primrose oil to help soften the cervix- this will prevent tearing and help with dilation. Good luck mama!
