What does getting a epidural feel like? How did you feel? 
Physically how did you feel?

I’ve had an epidural during labor and not during labor and it didn’t hurt at all. I know some people have a bad experience but for me it was a tiny pinch that lasted a second.

Just felt like a bee sting. It feels amazing after. I’ve had no effects since birth.

I didn’t feel any effects. I didn’t even realize I was numb. It’s not like your leg falling asleep or anything. I am usually terrified about stuff like that but I felt no anxiety

Epidural is better than spinal... First pregnancy, the anesthesiologist missed the first try with spinal... Had to do 2nd try it was so berutal... Epidural was so much better at first try with a different anesthesiologist with second pregnancy

Actually getting it was very uncomfortable for me. He had to try twice and trying to deal with that during super intense pitocin induced contractions was rough. It worked very well for me though. Just didn’t feel anything from my mid-section down. I kind of wish I would have had them back it off a little so I could’ve felt something to help move myself and such. It’s like my limbs were dead lol

Seems like everyone had an ok experience with it ... me however it was the worst pain out of the whole Birthing 😩

Idk but I had my first born and I felt it allllllll it was really hard not to move I had to hold on to my head nurse shoulders while trying not to move and she told me the effects and it actually after 30 mins I had him it didn’t take long and I did tear but I had him least than 30 mins I couldn’t feel anything until the tear now I can’t bend over for too long or my back will ache so bad but everyone is different ❤️

With my first, I don't recall it being very painful. I remember there being a lot of uncomfortable pressure, but it wasn't unbearable. The worst part was sitting slouched over during contractions. 
With my second, it was horrible, almost as bad as the contractions. There was the uncomfortable pressure, but it also felt like horrible electrical shocks shooting down my left leg. The epidural didn't take on my left side.

For me, it was nothing compared to the contractions I was having every minute and a half. I even had two done! My nurse accident snapped the catheter on my first one. A simple pinch, pressure, and done. That was it!

For me (i got the epidural at 91/2 cm dated) the pain of contractions was so intense, when they did the epidural I didn’t feel it at all. 🤷🏼‍♀️
