Is it ok to have a bath while pregnant?

I’d really love a bath but I’ve heard they can be dangerous when pregnant. Is this true? I forgot to ask my obstetrician when I saw him last :(

You just need to be careful with the temperature and how much time you spend on the bath, as if you raise your body temperature that’s when it can be a bit dangerous. That’s why saunas and such are not recommended for pregnant women. 
I’m not sure from what weeks though, or more details about it. Sorry.

You can take a bath, just don't make it too hot. It's only bad for baby if your body temp is raised too much. I love scalding baths, but have just been taking warm ones lately.

My doc said as long as the water isn’t boiling, it’s fine. I take baths every night and did with my last pregnancy. I enjoy Epsom salt baths, they soothe my aches 😁

My doctor and naturopath both said it’s much more about your own body temp not getting too high, rather than belly being submerged. So long as the water isn’t too hot, and no more than 20 minutes, enjoy!!

Just obviously not extremely hot... 
the first few weeks are fine but I think it’s abit more dodgy when your in your third trimester as it can raise your temp and the babies? And the babies can’t control their temp..Something like that. 
My first baby I was super cautious but this time around I need it for the aches and pains 😂
