Baby shower?

When did you or when do you plan on having your baby shower? Is 36weeks too late? Too early? I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ haha

I’m doing mine at like 31 weeks, it may seem early to some but I like to be prepared and want to have time to put things away and you never know if you could go early or be put on bed rest or something.

I'm having mine at about 32 weeks only because I'm due in October and there are so many birthdays and anniversaries in September so we figure August is best so we dont feel like we have to compete with everything else going on.

My mom did mine at 36 weeks . I thought it was perfect 2 weeks later I had my baby .

Too late. You’ll have so much to clean, put away, organize and exchange! You don’t want to be 36 weeks+ pregnant doing that task. Trust me, I did it. HUGE MISTAKE I WAS MISERABLE!! honestly i think the sweet spot is 28-32 weeks.

I did mine at 25 weeks because my sis and I had a combined shower (she’s 5 weeks ahead of me).

I’m having mine next week and I’ll be 27 weeks. Initially I thought it was early but I rather it be early than late. The ideal time is really 28-34 weeks.

I would recommend before 35 weeks. By 37 weeks you’ll be uncomfortable and babies can easily come 2 weeks early. I had a shower at 27 and one at 32 weeks. Give yourself time to be able to write thank you cards and see what other gear you need after getting gifts. The end gets intense - don’t add more pressure if possible!

First one was at 28 weeks, and my second was at 34. The one at 34 was a lot more difficult and uncomfortable for sure!

Mine is at 35 weeks exactly (next Saturday) I wish it was at like 37 weeks so I’ll be bigger 😂
